Ex-child soldiers in CAR
Different locations, Central African Republic. 2012-2013.  Unicef UK.

Once children have been released from armed groups, they are identified by a child protection worker and are admitted to a Transit and Orientation Center (CTO) where they receive a holistic treatment before being reunited with their families. The CTO is a UNICEF-supported structure where children can stay for a few weeks after their release while social workers look for their families and prepare them for reintegration in their communities.
